On Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009, Susan Ann Jones, age 53, of Ridgeland, was led to the gates of Heaven by Jesus Christ. Susan passed away in the Fox Lake, Ill., home of her son, where she was surrounded by all of her loving children and grandchildren for the weekend.
Susan is the daughter of Charlotte Buck (now married to Leonard Buck) and Dennis Kolbeck. She was born on Nov. 5, 1955, in the town of Mitchell, S.D., and grew up in Salem, S.D. Susan worked a variety of jobs in life, most related to nursing and health care.
Susan is survived by her sons, James Ramesbothom and grandson, Alex James; Jeremy King and his wife, Jamie, and granddaughter, Sydney Alexis; Joshua King and his wife, Heidi, and grandkids Shawn Oly and Kylie Ann; and finally by her daughter, Molly Jean Richter, and her husband, Brian.
A memorial service for Susan A. Jones will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2009, at Woodruff-Jandt Funeral Home located at 4239 Mormon Coulee Road in La Crosse. Relatives and friends are welcome. A memorial luncheon will follow at Stoney Creek Inn located at 3060 S Kinney Coulee Road in Onalaska.
